FAQ's About Sweat Reduction
Results vary by individual, but many patients experience several months of reduced sweating after treatment. Repeat treatments can help maintain consistent dryness over time.
Most patients are able to resume normal daily activities shortly after the appointment. Mild redness or temporary sensitivity at the treatment site may occur but typically resolves quickly.
Discomfort is generally minimal. The treatment involves a series of small Botox injections, and providers often use fine needles and techniques designed to maximize comfort.
Treating excessive sweating in one area does not cause the body to redirect sweating elsewhere. The treatment simply reduces activity in the targeted sweat glands.
Temporary side effects may include redness, mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising at the injection sites. These effects are usually short-lived and resolve on their own.
